What is Lactoferrin?
Lactoferrin is a natural, biologically active, iron-binding glycoprotein made of a single polypeptide chain of 691 amino acids. It is a key biological protein within the body and found in saliva, our tears, synovial fluid, white blood cells, our sweat and mother’s milk and has proven antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitic, anti-inflammatory, iron regulating, skin healing and immunomodulatory activities. With over 8,800 clinical trials and papers written on its benefits, Lactoferrin not only plays a vital role within our natural immune system but also helps support skin and gut microbiome health.

What is L-Glutamine?
L Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the human body and involved in a vast amount of metabolic processes, including the synthesis and protection of glycogen, muscle tissue and immune support during periods of immune and muscular stress when the body’s natural L-Glutamine levels become depleted.
