Application directions

Step 1 - Shampoo your hair to rid your hair of any residue and towel dry

We recommend our Super Natural range of Organic Shampoos for best results.

Step 2 - Heat the Oil

Loosen the lid of the bottle to break the tamper seal, but do not remove the lid and place in a small bowl of very hot water. Leave the bottle to sit in the water for 3 minutes (do not submerge the cap of the bottle under the water).

Step 3 - Apply the oil to your scalp

You do not need to apply all the oil at once, but gradually work the oil across your scalp massage your scalp thoroughly for 3 - 5 minutes. Don't worry if some hair comes out, this was going to come out anyway, you are simply making room for new hair growth and the stimulating effect on your scalp will help encourage healthy new hair growth as well as rid your hair scalp of dead skin cells. Once you have thoroughly massaged your scalp work the oil outwards to the tips of your hair. It is great if you have someone else to do this for you, but if you don't - just think of the exercise you are giving your bingo wings!

Step 4 - Cover you hair with a Towel and Shower Cap

A shower cap is a must for the best application of hot oil treatments, gather your hair up under the shower cap and then under very hot water wet a towel. Ring the towel out of excess water and then wrap around your head, over the top of your shower cap. This will warm and open up your hair follicles. Remove the towel when it goes cold and leave the shower cap on. Leave for 30 minutes to 1 hour, during this time you can simply chill out, get on with your housework or whatever you need to do, this is the time the oil is going to be working on your hair to achieve best results. Step 5 - Wash it Out

Get in the shower and rinse with hot water, the hot water will re-activate the oil to give it an extra boost of shine. Cool the water down to warm and shampoo your hair, you may need to shampoo twice to ensure that the oil is completely out. In order to stop damage from blow drying, try to let your hair air dry for as long as possible. Repeat weekly to maintain your hair in optimum condition.
