Epsom salt - for pain and beauty

Epsom salt, like many natural substances today, is experiencing a renaissance. Solutions with this salt work favorably against bruises, swelling, tired feet, eliminate unwanted odors, soothe after long-haul flights, relax joints and muscles, bring peaceful sleep. Magnesium sulfate activates the body's regenerative mechanisms.

For pain and beauty

Epsom salt is also gaining popularity, especially thanks to well-known faces who reach for it. It is magnesium sulfate and besides being historically a reliable remedy for pain and cramps, it is now becoming a means of perfect appearance. The healing salt, referred to as a panacea that can deal with oily hair, bloated belly, and poor skin quality, has caught the attention of Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow and many other famous beauties. Today they proudly declare their use of it and attribute their flat bellies to it, for example.

How does it work?

At the beginning of the seventeenth century, a farmer living near the town of Epsom in the United Kingdom discovered a spring rich in magnesium sulfate. The healing salts and their miraculous properties were soon revealed.

For a flat belly

If we want a flat belly, it is enough to bathe three times a week in a bath to which we add two cups of Epsom salt. The bath works against belly bloating and reduces water retention. Magnesium and other substances beneficial to the body are absorbed through the skin during the bath. Since skin is porous, toxins and excess fluids are gradually flushed from our body as beneficial substances enter it. The end result is a flat belly. It is known that models enjoy such a bath in the evening before an important photo shoot. Especially when they are shooting underwear or swimwear.

Epsom salt: A miraculous cure for many ailments?

Detoxification and relaxation

Victoria Beckham fell in love with a bath in this salt and swears by it. Similarly, Gwyneth Paltrow: "I love a detoxifying bath with Epsom salt. It rejuvenates muscles, flattens the belly." Famous personal trainer of several celebrities James Duigan recommends that before soaking in a bath with this salt, thoroughly massage your body with a brush to open your pores. Then the bath has an even more pronounced effect. Gwyneth also recommends such a bath after a heavy dinner. It is effective against soreness, as it can relieve muscle pain and helps flush out toxins.

Against oily hair

Epsom salt has another unusual property - it can absorb excess oil from hair. Just add a handful of salt when shampooing your hair and wash as usual. Experts on this salt recommend creating a strengthening mask for hair. You get it by mixing one part hair conditioner with one part salt. Heat the mixture in a pan and apply to hair. Leave it on for twenty minutes, then rinse. The result? Softer, fuller hair, strengthened ends of hair that have been heat damaged, for example by curling. It also helps avoid frizzy hair.

Peeling and cleansing

Simply mix half a teaspoon of Epsom salt with your regular facial cleanser. Massage onto the skin, rinse with cold water and dry. This increases the level of magnesium in the skin, has a rejuvenating effect, hydrates the skin and also detoxifies it. Since we absorb minerals through the skin, we cannot overdose.

That's still not all

Solutions with this salt work favorably against bruises, swelling, tired feet, eliminate unwanted odors, soothe after long-haul flights, relax joints and muscles, bring peaceful sleep. Magnesium sulfate activates the body's healing mechanisms.

It also acts as a laxative, helps with internal cleansing, softens stool, and helps regulate a poorly functioning digestive system. However, be careful, Epsom salt that you plan to use internally must be food-grade and should be taken before breakfast mixed with water. However, consult your doctor about its use beforehand. The Epsom salt in our offer is also for internal use.
