SANDALWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL

Sandalwood is extracted from the evergreen tree baring the same name. It takes 60 years for a tree to reach the maturity for it to be able to be cut for essential oils. Indonesia has managed plantations for the cultivation and replanting of Sandalwood. In India it is less controlled and has in the past led to death and fighting due to the riches the Sandalwood tree holds. For this reason we only purchase our Sandalwood Essential Oil from Indonesian plantations.

CHARACTERISTICS

A very deep woody oil with Sweet tones to a creamy base.

Basil, Benzoin, Black Pepper, Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemon, Myrrh, Neroli, Palmarosa, Rose, Vetivert, Ylang Ylang.
