Hello, dear readers of our blog. The last blog from the Skin facts topic was dedicated to proper diagnosis of our skin. The second issue that goes hand in hand with diagnosis is the choice of the right cosmetics for your skin. Today we focus in this article precisely on the normal type of skin.
Although this type of skin does not suffer from any deficiencies, it is very important to provide the skin with quality care. Important steps here are therefore regular cleansing, peels, sun protection and also hydration in the form of cosmetics, but also drinking regime.
Cleansing
The basis of a daily routine is proper cleansing and toning. In general, a more suitable and preferred alternative for this type of skin is cleansing milk or balm rather than cleansing gel. This is because cleansing gel can unnecessarily dry out the skin and conversely cleansing milk or balm provides nutrition and hydration to the skin through its softness. Another suitable alternative can also be cleansing oil, which will leave the skin soft and nourished.

Toning
After cleansing, we naturally have open pores, which is why the subsequent toning step is very important to close them and prepare our skin for further cosmetic products. For this type of skin, a tonic containing is suitable:
- vitamin C for skin brightening
- aloe vera for hydration
- Centella Asiatica content for skin nutrition and softness
- natural moisturizing factors (NMF - Natural Moisturising Factors)
- collagen
- hyaluronic acid for hydration

Eye Area Care
In this part of the face there are few collagen fibers and no fatty tissue that retains moisture. It is appropriate to choose eye creams not so much according to skin type, but rather according to individual problems you want to solve (wrinkles, age spots around the eyes, sensitivity around the eyes, puffiness, dark circles under the eyes). In eye creams, ingredients such as caffeine, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, collagen, eyebright, cucumber extract, vitamin E, etc. play an important role.

Serum + day/night cream
For age groups up to 40 years, when wrinkles are absent or only fine, facial serums and creams for brightening with vitamin C or antioxidants are excellent. For hydration, cosmetic products with hyaluronic acid, snail mucin, aloe vera, rare oils, etc. are suitable. For age groups over 40 years, you need to choose serums and creams both for hydration and for fighting wrinkles. Active ingredients in cosmetics are therefore hyaluronic acid (ideally in 3 degrees of molecular size), collagen, vitamin E, polyphenols, plant stem cells, NMF, Centella Asiatica, etc.

Masks
Masks should be chosen mainly hydrating and nourishing. You should definitely avoid various tightening masks that would unnecessarily dry out the skin. Suitable are for example collagen masks, masks containing honey, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, allantoin, ceramides or vitamin C for skin brightening.
